Season 8 in Progress

It has been an eventful start of our 8th season! We are so grateful for the opportunities that we have had. We were given the honor of participating in Kanini Fest earlier this fall conducting a writing workshop. We also participated at Crystal Bridges Second Saturday event. We brought to life the story of Super Torta, a children’s book written by Eric Ramos. Thank you Mas Libritos Bookstore for the continuing collaboration for bilingual story time!

And of course, we had our Día de Muertos Celebration earlier this month. It could not have been the success it was without our amazing community partners! This event holds a special place in the heart of LXTP, and we are so grateful that it has continued to grow not only in guest ofrenda artists as well as community outreach!

We are especially grateful to have a community that has supported us throughout these years. Thank you for the donations and for attending our events and shows! We will continue to work to uplift our community and showcase performances that represent us.

Sherlock Holmes: The Timber Family Files

Coming up next is our newest play. Sherlock Holmes: The Timbers Family File reimagines Sherlock Holmes as a Latine/x detective living and operating within their community. Our story follows a younger version of Sherlock Holmes as they make a name for themselves as the city’s newest detective by uncovering a string of robberies that has the entire neighborhood shook and police cracking down on the homies. With the help of the community and their unlikely companion, Watson, Sherlock is determined to figure out who is behind it all, and how to stop them.

This play will be in production in Spring of 2025!
